Will I get ripped off?

What if I submit my order form and don't hear back?

Is EStatLabs.com "insurance"?
No, EStatLabs.com is not insurance. There are no monthly premiums, no applications, no underwriting, no waiting periods, no preexisting conditions, and no claims reports. You however can file for reimbursements yourself with your eStatLab receipt.
What does it cost?
EStatLabs.com is transparent and shows all prices and fees. Only fee assessed is a $7 for SINGLE order tests only, order more than one test and you are not asked to pay the $7 draw fee. Our pricing is typically 50% to 75% lower than retail pricing. There are no hidden fees. We offer the lowest prices on the Internet. Guaranteed! No, EStatLabs.com is not insurance and has no such limits.
Are there any age limits or restrictions?
Only customers 18-years and older are eligible, even seniors can use the benefits as often as they wish and receive lower prices than the usual and customary rates.

Do I need to see my doctor to get tested?
No, consumers are realizing that they need to take control of their own health, and direct-to-consumer testing programs allow greater participation in one's own healthcare. A doctor's prescription is not necessary for lab tests on this site. You may order a lab test without consulting your doctor each time one is necessary. EStatLabs.com refers its clients to the same CLIA-certified labs that physicians and hospitals use, so you can rest assured that quality care is being given. EStatLabs.com recommends that you share the lab results with your physician or consult one of our certified and licensed providers.
Can I use EStatLabs.com with my current health plan’s benefits?
Yes, EStatLabs.com uses several national testing labs. As a result, the number of facilities available to you is very comprehensive. If your health plan’s medical testing benefits have a large co-pay, deductible, coinsurance (money out of your pocket), or excludes testing, EStatLabs.com can save you valuable dollars and time.
What if I haven’t met my deductible? Will EStatLabs.com be of any value to me?
Absolutely! Anything up to your deductible comes out of your pocket; therefore, you save money with EStatLabs.com because you pre-pay and get lower fees. It’s your money. Why not spend far less of it? Always report your medical expenses to your insurance company (if applicable) and for taxes.
How do I order my lab tests?
You can order your lab services online very easily. Once you’ve pre-paid, using a credit card, you will receive the requisition order form by mail within days.
How and when do I pay for my lab tests?
You pay when you order your blood tests. We accept credit card payment, VISA, MasterCard, American Express or Discover. Ordering is made easy through the PayPal system, secure and fast. ONLY members can order at these very low prices.
How does the actual test ordering process work?
When ordering online, just follow the easy online instructions. If you have questions while online, please call and the Customer Service Specialists will be happy to answer them for you no matter where you are in the process. You must register to gain access to our toll free number.
If I have Medicare, can I still use EStatLabs.com?
Medicare often covers lab testing services, however, if Medicare declares that a lab test is not "medically necessary" or that it exceeds an annual limit (is being taken too often), you may order your lab tests from EStatLabs.com. You will have to pay for your lab tests in advance, and Medicare will not reimburse you for the testing, however, by having EStatLabs.com perform the testing, seniors will save valuable dollars from their fixed incomes.
Who can use EStatLabs.com?
Can I use EStatLabs.com if I don’t have any insurance?
Absolutely! Approximately 50 million Americans have no health insurance either through their employer or as a personal plan. EStatLabs.com works to bring down the cost of your medical testing. Take charge of your own health.
Is this covered by my insurance?
EStatLabs.com does not file insurance claims. Some insurance plans have a "wellness" or "prevention" benefit and you should contact your carrier for that information. We can provide you with the CPT codes so you may file for reimbursement, just request this.
Does Medicare or Medicaid cover this?
This program is not covered by Medicare or Medicaid.
Do I need an appointment?
An appointment is usually not required at most Patient Service Centers. However, we encourage our customers to call a Convenient Patient Service Center to find out if an appointment is needed. Once you register you will gain access to the “Lab Locator” tab to locate your closest blood draw center.
Should I fast before visiting a lab to have my blood tested?
Please contact your physician or the lab testing site to find out about fasting requirements. It is recommended to fast 8-hrs prior to a blood draw, with the exception of water.
When will I receive the results?
You can expect to receive the results by e-mail usually within 48-72 hours after your blood is drawn for serum tests. Results from the specialty labs on hair, saliva, urine, and stool may take a week or longer.
Are the results available online?
Your results will be e-mailed to you, usually within 72 hours.
Are the results confidential?
Absolutely. We respect your privacy and maintain confidentiality. You are the only one who receives the results unless you specifically direct us otherwise, with a signed HIPAA release. We abide by HIPAA laws.
Will I be able to understand the test results?
Most reports are easy to understand. If you require additional information or interpretation we offer physician consultation. PC 45 option is best for post-test review. You can also consult with your own physician regarding your test results.
How reliable are the results?
We use the leading national laboratories, which are fully accredited, licensed Medical Reference Labs. These are the same labs your doctor uses.
Will my doctor see the results or receive a copy?
We deal directly, confidentially with you and email the results to you only. We do recommend that you share a copy of the results with your doctor.
What if I receive an abnormal value?
Abnormalities should be considered an early warning, but do not necessarily mean you have an illness or disease. We strongly recommend you discuss the results with your doctor or one of ours for evaluation, further testing, and diagnosis.
Who can I contact about abnormal lab test results?
Questions regarding abnormal results should be discussed with your doctor or ours via telemedicine using SKU PC 45 (Physician consultation).
What is a Patient Service Center or Lab blood draw station?
Certified national laboratories have Patient Service Centers or blood draw centers throughout the USA where patients have their blood drawn and urine samples collected. These are staffed by certified phlebotomists and the same facilities referred to by doctors. We make every attempt to provide a seamless process, your Lab Requisition Order form is faxed to the lab site of your choice and you also receive a copy by e-mail to print and take with you.
Is there a Patient Service Center near me?
EStatLabs.com uses only nationwide CLIA-certified Medical Reference Laboratories with Patient Service Centers close to where you live or work for the blood draw.
What is the testing procedure?
You may order online at www.eStatLabs.com. We then refer you to the laboratory with the Patient Service Center/ draw station most convenient to your home or office, where the blood is drawn by a certified phlebotomist. The results are received by our office generally within 72 hours and e-mailed confidentially to you.
Can I Order online?
You may complete a secure online order form which is in encrypted code. To protect you and your credit card information, we use Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology, which is the industry standard and among the best software available today for secure commerce transactions. SSL sends your credit card number to our computer in an encrypted code, which only we can decode. We utilize PayPal and the PayPal service, if you do not have a PayPal account, you can order by credit card.
Can I cancel my order?
There will be a 15% of total purchase cancellation fee for any canceled orders. You may not cancel if you have already had your blood drawn.
How long is my requisition good for?
Lab Requisitions are valid for 6 months from the date of purchase. We advise having you blood draw within 5-days of ordering.
When I order a blood test, am I a patient of your doctor?
No. You must make a formal consultation purchase and only when you have actually spoken with our physician(s) will there be a patient-doctor relationship established. We keep permanent records of the consultation on file.
Who are your doctors?
We have certified licensed physicians on staff as well as a nationally recognized medical director. All of our staff are healthcare providers, mid-level physician extenders and our physicians have at least 20-years experience in general and preventive medicine. eStatLabs is RedBanyan company.
Can I order via DAT if I live in NY, NJ, MA or RI?
No, State law prevents use of DAT in these states. We serve patients residing in TN, TX, FL, GA, NC, SC and VA. Other states may be added soon.
